Envisioning The Design
At Second Life by Eva, the upcycling process begins with a vision. When I look at a specific piece of used clothing, I envision the design that will fit it the most, as well as the fabric that will be a perfect match for it. If I want to create a specifc design I look for the perfect used garment that will fulfill my vision, as well as the perfect fabric thet will enhance my unique creation.
Deconstruction And Integration
I then deconstruct the original pieces to integrate them, if both are used, as is the case of the jackets, so the result is as good as the original. I deconstruct the used garmet and I integrate it with the fabric, as is the case of the skirts, so the result is as detailed as the original garment. This ensures every piece maintains the highest quality and unique style.
The Secret Sauce: Perfectionism
What makes Second Life by Eva's process special? I'm a perfectionist. Being by myself allows me to work on a piece until I'm completely happy with the result, ensuring every detail is meticulously considered. This dedication to quality shines through in every upcycled garment.
